 Assisted School Travel Program

Yass Taxis is proudly contracted to the Department of Education & Communities to provide Assisted Travel.

Students with disability who are unable to travel to and from school under Transport for NSW’s School Student Transport Scheme may be eligible for access to transport assistance under the Department of Education and Communities Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP).

The ASTP provides specialised door to door transport assistance for eligible students between their permanent residence and school at no cost to the families where parents and carers are unable to provide or arrange transport for the student either fully or in part. Eligibility Criteria apply & Guidelines are available by contacting your School Principal or the Department of Education and Communities.
